What Is AccuRx

Streamlining Patient Care with AccuRx

In our ongoing effort to enhance patient care and manage our practice’s workload efficiently, we have implemented the AccuRx triage system. This innovative tool allows us to prioritise patient needs effectively and ensure timely access to the appropriate healthcare services.

What is Accurx Triage?

AccuRx triage is an online system that enables patients to submit their health concerns through an on-line digital form here on our practice website. This system helps us assess the urgency of each case and direct patients to the most suitable healthcare provider or service.  After review by the duty clinician, patients receive a telephone call or a self-booking link via SMS, allowing them to choose a suitable appointment time, either face-to-face or via telephone. After review patients might receive advice on self-help or the best place to get help if it is not at the GP surgery

Benefits of AccuRx Triage:

  • Efficient Prioritisation: Ensures that urgent cases are seen promptly while routine cases are scheduled appropriately.
  • Improved Access: Patients can submit their concerns at any time, providing flexibility and convenience.

Patient Communication with AccuRx SMS Messaging

At our practice, we are committed to improving communication with our patients, and one of the tools we use to achieve this is AccuRx SMS secure messaging. This innovative system allows us to connect with you quickly and efficiently, ensuring you receive important information and reminders directly to your mobile phone.

How Does It Work?

  1. Appointment Reminders:
We can send you reminders about upcoming appointments, helping you to keep track of your schedule and reducing the likelihood of missed appointments.
  2. Health Questionnaires:
We may send you a link to complete a health questionnaire before your appointment. This helps us gather important information about your health in advance, allowing us to provide more personalised care.
  3. Test Results and Follow-Ups:
If appropriate, we can use SMS to inform you about test results or to follow up on your treatment plan, ensuring you stay informed about your health.
  4. Prescriptions:

We can inform you of when your medications are ready for collection.

Security and Privacy:

Your privacy is important to us. AccuRx SMS messaging is designed to be secure, and we ensure that all communications comply with data protection regulations. We will only use SMS messaging for appropriate and necessary communications.

Opting In and Out:

We respect your preferences regarding communication. If you wish to opt out of receiving SMS messages, please let us know, and we will update your communication preferences accordingly.
