How to get a COVID Vaccine
Appointments for all adults at mass vaccination centres can be booked by visiting this website.
Our local GP led vaccination centre is at Doddington Hospital. The Doddington hospital site will not appear when you follow the NHS link above. We are now in a position to be able to book appointments for all patients aged 18 and over.
If you are aged 18 or over, have not yet received a text message and wish to book at Doddington hospital please contact your surgery.
Drop in vaccination clinics with both Astra Zeneca and Pfizer vaccines are available at Doddington Hospital on the following dates:
10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th and 31st July 9.00-5.30pm and 25th July 9.00-3pm
Please note that second doses can only be given 8 weeks after the first.
Proof of Covid 19 Vaccination status
From 17 May 2021, people in England who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can demonstrate their vaccination status for international travel. A full course is currently two doses of any approved vaccine. A person is considered to be fully vaccinated two weeks after their second vaccine. Vaccine status will be available from:
It may take more than a week for your identity to be checked and verified so you can use these services.
If you cannot access these online services, and you have had 2 vaccines, you can request a paper letter from the NHS by calling 119. Only call 119 if you had your second dose more than 5 working days ago. It may take 7 working days for the letter to arrive.
This practice is not able to provide you with a letter that shows your COVID-19 vaccination status.
When you're planning your travel, check the latest information on demonstrating your COVID-19 status when travelling abroad on the gov.uk website. Make sure there is time to get proof of your vaccination status before you leave.
